On the weekend of September 26 and 27, 2026, the Bugatti Circuit in Le Mans is hosting the 41st edition of the 24 Hours Trucks. A motorsport celebration like no other: 80,000 spectators, 68 5-ton and 1,200 horsepower mastodons, 12 races on the program, and a family atmosphere that you won't find anywhere else. Here's everything you need to know before you go.

What the 24 Hours Trucks really are

Contrary to what the name suggests, the 24 Hours Trucks is not a 24-hour endurance race. The concept is different, and in fact much more spectacular for the general public.

The weekend is structured around 12 sprint races spread over two days, opposing three championships on the same circuit:

  • The FIA European Truck Racing Championship (ETRC): the best drivers in Europe

  • The British Truck Racing Championship (BTRC): the British championship

  • The 24h Challenge: the French championship

It is the only meeting of the year where these three championships run together on the same track, on the same weekend. This guarantees an exceptional set and clashes that cannot be seen anywhere else.

Breathtaking machines

Forget the image of the diesel truck blocking the highway. The machines that launch on the Bugatti Circuit are technological monsters:

  • Up to 1,200 horsepower under the hood

  • Approximately 5 tons in working order

  • Top speed in excess of 160 km/h on the pit straight

  • Brands like MAN, IVECO, Scania, Scania, Mercedes, Freightliner and Renault Trucks

Seeing them fight around the corners of the Bugatti Circuit, a compact urban layout, very different from the 24-hour Grand Circuit, produces a noisy, physical and immediate spectacle. Braking distances are short, overtaking numerous, contacts... frequent.

Weekend program

The detailed hour-by-hour program will be published a few weeks before the event on the official website. Here is the typical structure of the weekend, true to the previous editions:

Friday September 25

  • Campgrounds open from 10:00am (Le Houx site) and 12:00am (other sites)

  • Arrival of the teams, installation in the paddocks

Saturday 26 September

  • Free practices and qualifications in the morning

  • First races in the afternoon

  • Night race in the evening: unique visual show with position lights

  • Fireworks around 22:10

  • Live concert around 22:15

Sunday 27 September

  • Final races for the three championships

  • Truck Show: parade of more than 250 decorated trucks

  • Award presentations

Drivers to follow in 2026

This 41st edition promises an ETRC season of rare intensity.

Norbert Kiss (Hungary, MAN) is the reigning champion, with seven ETRC titles to his name. In 2026, he is aiming for an eighth title, which would constitute an absolute world record in truck racing. The Hungarian language is the unquestionable reference in the discipline.

On the other hand, Jochen Hahn (Germany, IVECO) and his six European titles will not admit defeat. Their rivalry has been the focus of the championship for ten years.

Also to follow: Steffi Halm, German driver on IVECO, who won his first ETRC victory in 2025: a first in the history of the championship. And on the French side, Téo Calvet (Buggyra ZM Racing) will try to snatch a fourth consecutive title in the Challenge 24h after his victories in 2023, 2024 and 2025.

This is one of the highlights of the event: access is much cheaper than the 24 Heures Motos or the 24 Hours of Le Mans auto.

  • Early Bird Rate (until June 30, 2026): €45

  • Full price (from July 1, 2026): €53

  • ACO members: €40

  • Children under 16: free (with a paying adult)

The ticket gives access to the circuit for two days, with free entry into the paddock (an access that the 24 hours cars paid for separately). The campsites are at an additional cost, reservation via the same portal.

Access to the circuit and accommodation

Coming by car

The Bugatti Circuit is well connected from all over the region:

  • Paris: 205 km via the A11 (~2 hours)

  • Nantes: 205 km via the A11

  • Rennes: 160 km via the A81

  • Tours: 100 km via the A28

  • Alençon: 60 km via the A28

Several car parks available on site: the Panorama car park (paid), the Etamat and Raineries car parks (free), and a Trucker Camp with showers and catering dedicated to professionals in the sector.

By public transport

From Le Mans station (TGV Paris Montparnasse in 55 minutes):

  • Bus line 5 (BHNS) or line 10: North entrance, 10 minutes on foot

  • Tram T1, stop Antarès — Marie Mar: East entrance

Sleep on site

The official campsites on the circuit (Houx, Houx Annexe, Les Épinettes, Beausejour) open on Friday from 10:00am. Count 35 m² per location, sanitary facilities and showers included. For room accommodation, book early: hotels in Le Mans fill up quickly in September.

The 24 Hours Trucks is not just about the track. On the site, you will find:

The 24 Hours Trucks occupy a special place in the Le Mans sporting calendar. Although less publicized than the 24 Heures Auto, they nevertheless offer an experience that is often considered more accessible, more user-friendly and more spontaneous.

The paddock is open for all tickets. The drivers are close to the public. The atmosphere is festive without being saturated. And the machines, with their low roars and impressive size, produce a show that will leave a lasting impression: especially the night race on Saturday.
